Краткое описание:
Прошло десять лет после событий Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Chaos Rising. В подсекторе Аврелия продолжаются ожесточённые бои между Имперскими силами и Тиранидами, Эльдарами, Орками и Хаосом.
Предательство магистра ордена «Кровавых Воронов» Кираса шокировало десантников, которые должны восстановить честь ордена. Аполлон Диомед пытался очистить субсектор Аврелия от оставшейся заразы Черного Легиона. Несмотря на собственные внутренние противоречия, гордость Диомеда не позволила ему поверить в ересь магистра ордена Азарии Кираса. Капитан Габриель Ангелос верит в Диомеда, отправив под его командование несколько своих десантников.
Космический корабль орков-пиратов терпит крушение на планете Тифон, подвергающейся экстерминатусу. Из глубин Тифона вернулись Тираниды, ведомые Властелином Роя, который смог установить связь с Флотом Левиафан. Эльдары мира Алайток хотят забрать древние артефакты своей расы подальше от глупых людей. Элифас жаждет реванша, на этот раз с ним авангард Черного легиона и благословение самого Абаддона Разорителя.
Капитан Габриэль Ангелос запросил у Инквизиции поддержку для уничтожения погрязшего в ереси магистра Кираса. Для выполнения этой цели Лорд-Инквизитор выслал 8-й Кадианский полк Имперской Гвардии под наблюдением Леди-Инквизитора Адрастии, входящей в состав Ордо Еретикус, которая будет заниматься расследованием причин ереси Магистра.

Особенности игры:
* Одиночная кампания. В ней появилась возможность выбора расы. Всего будет 6 кампаний, в каждой из которых игрок выбирает следующую сторону:
